Free School Meals for More Hawaii Families
Under Act 139, the Hawaii Department of Education has expanded free school meal benefits for the 2026–27 school year. Families with household incomes at or below 300% of the federal poverty level (ALICE households) are now eligible to receive one free breakfast and one free lunch for each student every school day.

Family of 4: $113,850 (Add $19,590 for each additional family member)
