Chiefess Kamakahelei would like to express our sincere gratitude to Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg for their generous donation to the Middle Level Athletics program to be shared by the three Kauai middle schools. Their support will make a significant difference in the lives of countless middle school students by providing them with opportunities to participate in sports programs.
Chiefess Kamakahelei plans to use the funding to expand our intramural sports program in providing uniforms, transportation (for competition against other schools), meals, and equipment.
Due to the generosity of Priscilla and Mark, we can continue to foster a love of sports and physical activity among our youth. Their support is invaluable, and we are truly grateful for their commitment to our community.
