Kauai. Period. Project.

Aloha Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School Parents and Guardians,

The Kaua'i. Period. Project, is an innovative program generously funded by the Blue Chip Foundation and the William, Jeff, and Jennifer Gross Family Foundation to end period poverty.  Due to this partnership, all students in Kaua'i schools from grades 6-12 will be eligible to receive five pairs of reusable, safe, and comfortable underwear designed specifically for menstrual hygiene and incontinence needs.  Please read the letter from Complex Area Superintendent Mr. Daniel Hamada on this Google Form to get more information.  If you would like your child to receive the 5 pairs of reusable underwear, you must "opt-in" by completing and submitting the Google Form.  There is an educational component that students must complete online prior to picking up their gift.  For more information on the educational component and also dates/location of confidential on-campus pickup of the reusable underwear please go to the link below.  Thank you and have a great day.
