The State is obligated to assess ACCESS, ELA, Math, and Science progress annually.
A parent/legal guardian must annually refuse, in writing, their child's participation in the SBA Assessment and/or HSA Science NGSS assessment (grade 8 only). If you are refusing your child's participation in the state assessments, please submit a written letter to Principal Jean Morris refusing your child{ren)s participation in the specific assessments. Please include your child(ren)s name(s), grade, advisory teacher, your name/relationship, and contact information (please include an email address).
ONLY WRITTEN REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AND THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT THE LETTER IS JANUARY 27, 2022. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
