Effective August 31, daily school attendance online will be mandatory for 100% Distance Education students. Schools must take students' attendance and participation under distance learning. Students who don't participate will factor into school's chronic absenteeism figures. According to the schedule here, students are expected to: 1) Monday -Thursday: Log into Virtual Classroom for grade level content area meeting. 2) Friday: complete Science Class assignment for attendance
Please note that this schedule is only applicable to weeks which contain 5 days. In the event of a holiday, individual outreach on Friday will be utilized as a class meeting day.
Interested in returning to the Blended Learning Program for Quarter 2? If your child is struggling to work within the BlackBoard Learn Platform, you may need to consider placing your child back in the Blended Learning Program at the start of quarter 2 as they will have more direct interaction with their teachers within the Blended Model. If you know you want your child to return to the Blended Program, please complete this Return to Blended Program Google Form and you will be contacted by an administrator to finalize your child's schedule.
Parents and students who are struggling to understand the Blackboard Platform can schedule an "on-boarding" session. Please email email@example.com to schedule this. You and your child can come to campus, spend about 30 minutes with the instructors and learn the system.
Please watch this "On-Boarding" tutorial video to better understand the Blackboard Learn system.
Communication: Parents and students, when emailing any instructor for support, please put the following information in the subject bar: BB student (name) grade level. This will help the teachers more easily identify students that need assistance.
