Herbie's Photography will be back to take school portrait makeups at a later date this year if your child missed his/her opportunity during picture taking the week of August 15-19. Once we finalize when this date will be, we will let everyone know. Mahalo!
If you weren't able to join us at our Parent Night on Thursday, August 18th, to learn about our new student information system, Infinite Campus, your login information and how to create a new account will be sent home via advisory this week. The directions are pretty easy to follow and you should be able to get in yourself. Please note that there are separate codes for each parent so be sure to use the right code for you. Student codes will be shared this week with students as well.
Parents, please join us this Thursday evening from 5 pm to 6:30 pm in our school cafeteria to learn all about Infinite Campus, our new student information system. Come and get your passcodes and use one of our Chromebooks to login and create your account to view your child's grades!
Herbie's Photography will be back to take school portraits starting Monday, August 15th through Thursday, August 18th. 6th and 7th graders will be taking their pictures via their science classes on either Monday or Tuesday while 8th graders will be doing the same on Wednesday and Thursday. Information and order envelopes were sent home with students on Wednesday. Click here to download the picture taking schedule. Here are some things to keep in mind:
All students will be taking a picture, regardless if they are purchasing a package or not.
If purchasing a package, please send in payment by cash or check payable to Herbie's Photography and include it in the payment/order envelope that was also sent home. Be sure to fill out the information on the envelope.
School uniforms are not required for the entire week. Students may have free dress days for the duration of picture taking, even though they are taking pictures on just one of the four days. However, our CKMS Dress Code needs to be followed. You can view the dress code in the student planner.
If students are absent, they can take them on any of the other remaining days at recess, or wait for our makeup session later in the year.
Construction is beginning for the Philippine Cultural Center adjacent to the school campus and students can no longer access our campus through the YMCA parking lot. Please use the designated pick up and drop off locations (both parking lots).
CKMS Ohana: Thank you for helping us make the first week of school a great one for your children. We enjoyed meeting you on the orientation day for each grade level and look forward to working with you throughout the school year. Please take a moment to respond to our parent survey.
Please be sure to return the following documents to your child's homeroom teacher:
